We did enjoy this book and discussing the cooking show that some of us remembered. What a strong, resilient woman she is!! Good read. |

Everyone got something out of the book - it generated a lot of discussion as many difficult aspects of human life covered. However, people found the book rather verbose - in need of a good edit. |

I don't think anyone finished reading this book. The constant name dropping and boasting put most of us off, especially as most of us had no clue who all these so-called important, well-heeled people were. Maybe we read the book at a bad time, but with the coronavirus arriving on our shores, we all felt that our time was too precious to waste. |

The whole group really enjoyed this book. Interesting read, lively "no holds barred" on her telling the ups and downs of her life. |
