Interesting diversity of opinions from members on this book. Plenty of facts and figures quoted - led to lively discussion and debate.

Easy, enjoyable read but more chit-chat than substance.

This book provoked very diverse feedback. Half our group loathed it and did not progress beyond 100 pages. Those who persevered and completed the book found it worthwhile and scored it 4.5.

The whole group found this book difficult to finish, too full of facts and very repetitive.

Only 3 out of 12 read all of this book. One felt the American style was sometimes flippant, which contrasted with the important detail. Not a book to go to bed with.

It was interesting to read Mary Roach's deeply researched book alerting us to the problems of humans living with wildlife on this earth. Especially interesting was her outsider's view of N.Z's position on the aim of peaceful co-existence between animals and people.. Much to discuss but no easy solutions. Her aim was to help us think and consider all viewpoints.
