The group generally enjoyed the book and lots of discussion was had regarding privacy, and how people's information can be so easily obtained. We thought the book was cleverly written in relation to Kaitlyn and Sam's swap. We also discussed how each of us would try to 'Go Zero', but agreed it would not be easy in this day and age. We found the theme quite chilling, and very close to reality.

Our initial reaction was that the cover was off-putting, and didn't entice the reader. However all members enjoyed the book and it sparked a lot of discussion. Easy, fast read. Short paragraphs/chapters well received. Many thought it was written for a screen play.

A great thriller, enjoyed by most of the group, and we had good discussion on surveillance and privacy in today's world. We were however disappointed with the lacklustre ending.

Although we all really enjoyed reading this book and would highly recommend it to any other group, it wasn't a "great" literary novel! It made us all think and change some of our behaviours. It made us more aware of aspects of our own lives and how we are being manipulated, and increasingly insidiously.

Exceptional and clever and well-written - should be compulsory for secondary school education.

An enjoyable read, and a newly informed discussion about just how much our privacy has been invaded - and the fear of in whose hands and for what purposes the collected data could be used. Very thought-provoking!

Enjoyed storyline and short chapters. Will be a good movie when it comes out. The ending lends itself to a sequel, a bit unsatisfactory as it is. You need to persevere to get used to the writing style. One person in our group really loved it.
