The Book Discussion Scheme lends books & professionally prepared discussion notes to self-directed book groups. We cater to adults and to high school and tertiary students. We also run a programme for ESOL (English as second language speakers) and migrants. 

We deliver anywhere in New Zealand. Delivery is included in membership.

We offer you... 

Value for money - we loan out sets of books to self-directed book groups (average cost for adult programme is $6.50 a book + about $1 return postage). We are a not-for-profit organisation, so keep our costs low.

Convenience - we courier books with discussion notes anywhere in NZ (included in membership cost).

Choice - more than 1000 fiction & non-fiction titles to choose from.

Great discussion - your group reads and talks about the same book.
